Amish Patel born in Nineth June 1976, in Maharashtra, as the daughter of Amit Patel and Asha Patel. She made her debut in 2000 in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai and later stared in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, a Bollywood hit. She started her carrier by modeling for companies in USA and later she played several plays in India before appearing on silver screen.

Now she is in news due to her name changing policy. Whether it is for numerology or anything she had changed her names from Amisha Patel to Amisha and then to Ameesha. The last name brings her luck it sounds. She is the cover girl for the MW latest issue.
Ameesha has several Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films in her bag. She had won several prestigious awards including Film fare Award. She had also won Star Screen Award, and Zee Cine Awards.
